Roller Chains

RM Fowler stock a wide range of standard BS, ANSI and specialist roller drive chains for many historical vehicles. All of the roller chain we supply is specifically designed for automotive drive use and has a much higher specification than normal commercial chains. Two examples of historic vehicles that RM Fowler have supplied roller chains for are shown below.

Chain Measurements

In order to provide customers the chain they require we will need three important measurements in order to identify the correct chain. Please see below.

  • P = Pitch
  • DR = Roller Diameter
  • W = Distance between inner plates
